Current British immigration laws make immigration applications hard to manage without expert guidance. Failed applications are expensive to fix and can significantly add to the period it takes to reach settled status. This can create unnecessary hardship to what is often already an emotive journey. That is why we take a planned, and proactive approach to our immigration work.
Everything we do is designed with settlement and the peace of mind of our clients at the forefront of our work. With our success rate being well in excess of ninety percent, we bring excellence and efficiency to bear at a fee rate that you will find competitive.
Our regulatory body, The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), requires all law firms to provide their clients/ potential clients with transparent pricing information in certain areas of law in which they practice. Some parts of our firm’s Immigration practice are covered by this requirement.
The areas covered are as follows:
Applications for naturalisation or registration under the British Nationality Act 1981
Applications on behalf of European Economic Area (EEA) nationals and their family members under the applicable EEA Regulations or Immigration Rules, including applications for permanent residence, residence cards, and registration certificates
Applications under the Immigration Rules, including:
Student and work experience visas
Visit visas (for tourism, or visiting friends / family)
Spouse and partners applications, including fiancé(e)s or proposed civil partners
Applications for work, business or study under the Points-Based System;
dependent relative and family reunion applications
Ancestry visas
Other categories, such as applications on the basis of long residence
We are not required to publish prices for the following types of applications:
Asylum applications
Statelessness applications
Human rights / private life applications
Applications for Secretary of State immigration bail
Reconsideration and legacy requests
Judicial review, such as claims for unlawful detention
Immigration services to businesses (e.g. applications for certificates of sponsorship or confirmation of acceptance for studies).
Please note that in virtually all instances, we are able to work with our clients on an agreed fee basis to prepare and submit their applications or to represent them at an appeal hearing in the First-tier Tribunal/Upper Tribunal. Over the years, we have discovered that majority of our clients prefer this.
The quoted fee below covers the following
considering your documents
attending to you
taking your instructions and providing advice
preparing and submitting the application
advising you on timelines and the outcome of your application
Kindly note that the fee quoted below do not include any disbursement such as interpreter’s fee, independent expert reports (eg medical reports), NHS surcharge etc. Also, they do not include any application fees charged by the Home Office. All such fees are paid directly by the clients.
In addition, in situations where the Home Office refuses an application, advice and assistance in relation to any appeal are also not covered by the fee quoted below.
The current hourly rates of our solicitors and fee earners unless otherwise agreed, are as follows:
Solicitor Grade A: £240.00
